Star maintenance Ltd. offers a preventative maintenance for your compressed air needs.
We identify the parts required for your compressors and filters for your air dryers so that we have them available at the time we arrive for service.
Computerized Scheduling System
We use a computerized scheduling system to keep track of when your service is due.
We remove used oil and take for proper disposal.
If units have hour meters we track hours.
Send itemized breakdown of service at time of billing.
Piston Pump Compressor service.
Generally due every 6 months.
- We change the oil using quality compressor grade oils.
- Check air filter & replace if necessary.
- Check belts & tighten or replace if necessary.
- Check for water in air tank & drain or if so equipped check that automatic tank drains are working properly.
- Check for leaks.
- Check that the unit is unloading properly.
Rotary Screw Compressor service.
Generally due every 1,000 hours.
- Change oil filter.
- Check oil level.
- We sample oil for wear analysis. Oil is generally changed every 4,000 hours.
- Check air filter & change if necessary.
- Oil/Air Separator generally is changed on a yearly basis.
- Check belts if so equipped and change or tighten if required.
- Check load & unload function.
- Check for leaks.
- Rebuild inlet valves as required.
- Order parts for any other required parts replacement and repair.
